CLASS LEVELS A consistent weekly yoga practice will take you through a process of personal development, strength and flexibility. It is important to attend the correct class level that corresponds with your yoga experience. BASICS This level is for those new to yoga. This class focuses on the basic alignment and foundation poses. OPEN For those who have been practicing yoga consistently and want to be challenged further. The more experienced students may be given variations of some poses. EXPERIENCED For those who have been attending Iyengar classes weekly for the last 12 months or more. Back bends, handstands, headstand (Sirsasana) are introduced plus pranayama. DE-STRESS – All Welcome A special passive restorative class specificity designed to relief stress. This class calms the nervous system, clears the mind while creating balance and rejuvenation. ADVANCED An advanced class for those who have been practicing Iyengar yoga consistently for five years or more and have developed a personal practice. WORKSHOPS Open two hour workshops are for those who have been practicing yoga consistently and want to be challenged further. The more experienced students may be given variations of some poses. PRIVATE TUITION Open to individuals, groups and clubs who want their own personalised classes. Programs will be designed accordingly. SERIOUS HEALTH PROBLEMS Classes are not suitable for anyone with serious health problems or serious injuries. |
